How It Works

When a ticket is created or viewed, the BambooHR app retrieves the requester's email address from Zendesk and uses it to look up a matching employee record in BambooHR. The app displays the employee details in the Zendesk ticket sidebar in real time and does not store that employee data in Zendesk.

Data Handling & Privacy

This app transmits requester email addresses from Zendesk to BambooHR to look up matching employee records and display employee details in the Zendesk ticket sidebar. Data transmitted may include employee name, job title, department, location, manager, work phone, employment status, and employee status. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
