About Choji
Choji is an AI-powered product and engineering workflow platform. It brings customer evidence, product context, and engineering work into one place so teams can move from "a customer reported something" to "a change is shipped" without losing the thread.
What this integration does
Connecting Zendesk to Choji lets your team automatically ingest Zendesk support tickets, their public comment threads, and relevant ticket attachments as customer evidence. Choji analyzes that information alongside the rest of your team's product and engineering context to identify bugs, feature requests, and other work that may require engineering attention.
Rather than creating a new engineering ticket for every Zendesk conversation, Choji can consolidate related customer reports, enrich existing issues with additional evidence, and help teams move from customer feedback to implementation faster. Support conversations enter Choji as knowledge and evidence first; Choji then determines whether the content represents actionable engineering work.
Because a Zendesk conversation keeps evolving, Choji keeps following it. New comments on an already-imported ticket flow back into the same body of evidence, and attachments such as screenshots and PDFs are stored durably so the evidence stays readable over time.
Key capabilities
- Automatic ingestion — recent Zendesk support activity is imported when you connect, and new activity arrives continuously after that.
- Evidence, not noise — support content becomes searchable knowledge Choji reasons over, instead of a one-for-one flood of engineering tickets.
- Evidence consolidation — multiple reports of the same underlying problem can be grouped as supporting evidence on a single engineering issue.
- Traceability — work created in Choji links back to the originating Zendesk conversation, so support, product, and engineering stay in sync.
- Downstream workflows — evidence gathered from Zendesk feeds Choji's existing retrieval, ticket-generation, and implementation workflows.
Setup
This is an external integration. Nothing is installed inside your Zendesk agent interface. You connect Zendesk from within Choji using Zendesk OAuth, and Choji configures the webhook and trigger it needs automatically.
Data access and privacy
Once authorized, Choji may access Zendesk support tickets, public ticket comments and conversation history, requester and author information needed for context, relevant ticket metadata, and ticket attachments when present. Access is authorized through Zendesk OAuth and can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the integration in Choji. Zendesk content may be stored in Choji as customer evidence and knowledge; retention follows Choji's privacy policy at https://choji.ai/privacy.
Pricing and support
Choji is a paid product with plan details at https://choji.ai. Questions and support requests can be sent to hello@choji.ai.

Installatie-instructies
Choji connects to Zendesk from inside Choji — there is nothing to install in your Zendesk agent interface.
Before you start: you need a Choji account and a Zendesk user with administrator permissions, because Choji creates a webhook and a trigger in your Zendesk account during setup.
Sign in to Choji at https://choji.ai.
- Open Dashboard → Connections.
- Find Zendesk and choose Connect Zendesk.
- Enter your Zendesk subdomain — the part before
.zendesk.com(for example, acme). You are redirected to Zendesk. Review the requested permissions and authorize Choji.
Choji automatically creates the Zendesk webhook and trigger it needs to receive new support activity. No manual Zendesk configuration is required.
Choji imports your recent Zendesk support activity so there is useful context available right away.
From then on, new and updated Zendesk tickets and comments flow into Choji automatically as customer evidence.
To disconnect: open Dashboard → Connections → Zendesk in Choji and choose to disconnect. Choji removes the webhook and trigger it created and revokes its Zendesk access token.
