ReturnZap Returns Management

ReturnZap is a Shopify-native returns platform purpose-built for e-commerce merchants who take their post-purchase experience seriously. We give brands the tools to handle returns cleanly, keep reverse logistics costs in check, and make the returns process a strength rather than a pain point.

The ReturnZap Zendesk integration puts return data where your support team already works. When a ticket opens, the sidebar surfaces the customer's return information automatically — no tab switching, no manual order lookups, no time wasted.

What agents see on every ticket:

  • Current return status

  • Shipment and tracking status

  • Items being returned

  • Return type — refund, exchange, or store credit

  • Exchange details

  • Return submission date

With the full picture available at a glance, agents spend less time hunting for context and more time actually resolving the issue. Fewer back-and-forth messages, faster resolutions, better customer experience.

Security and Data Disclosure

Installatie-instructies

Before you begin

This app requires an active ReturnZap account on a paid plan with the Zendesk integration enabled. If you don't have a ReturnZap account, visit www.returnzap.com to get started.

Steps to install

  1. Install ReturnZap from the Shopify App Store and complete your account setup. Make sure your account is on a plan that includes the Zendesk integration.

  2. Install the ReturnZap app from the Zendesk Marketplace by clicking the Install button at the top of this page.

  3. In your ReturnZap account, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Zendesk and enter your Zendesk subdomain (e.g. yourcompany.zendesk.com).

  4. Click Generate API Key and copy the key that appears.

  5. Switch back to the Zendesk app installation screen and paste the API key into the field provided, then complete the installation.

  6. Once connected, the ReturnZap sidebar panel will appear automatically when viewing customer tickets in Zendesk.
