About this app

With this app, you can set timers to trigger delayed ticket actions and messaging conversation updates.
You can create an unlimited number of timers with 1-second accuracy.

Some use cases:

  • Send a CSAT survey 30 seconds after a ticket is solved.

  • Close tickets 30 minutes after they are solved.

  • Notify customers in messaging chats when a ticket is solved.

  • Send greetings with an agent’s name when a chat is assigned.

  • Solve messaging tickets 10 minutes after end-user inactivity.

  • Notify a supervisor if a conversation is not assigned within 120 seconds.

  • Send custom CSAT or NPS surveys after a ticket is solved.

  • Request Google Business, Trustpilot, G2, or similar reviews after a ticket is solved.

  • Dynamically update the conversation title.

  • Add a ticket number to the widget conversation title.

What the app does

The app adds a webhook and a trigger example. You can use Zendesk Support triggers to:

  • Add a tag to a ticket after a delay.
  • Send a configurable message to a conversation.

You can build a chain of additional actions based on ticket updates and added tags.

  • The app stores only error logs with the Zendesk subdomain and ticket ID - no personal data is stored.

How to Install Delayer

Follow these steps to set up the app in Zendesk:

  1. Install the App – Click Install on the Zendesk Marketplace and use the NOCC coupon to install without a credit card.
  2. Open the App – Refresh the Support page and click the app icon in the left navigation panel.
  3. Grant Permissions – Allow the app to access your Zendesk account.
  4. Authorize Zendesk Sunshine Conversations – Allow access in the newly opened tab.
  5. Set Up an Example Trigger – Create a basic trigger and then customize it for your use case in the Zendesk Admin Center. See our examples here.
